Kathakali felt like past Movies. The significance the Movie for itself amounted to almost nothing. With using the few changes that would require of a Crime/Thriller, The Director didn't do justice unlike of his previous one. 0.5 star for mixing in from Movies, in a partly proper manner. (more)

Dir.Pandiraj after giving solid childrens film immediately given an murder mystery story with seat edge thriller and high speed screenplay.. First Half : Full of romance between vishal and Catherine Tresa chemistry works highly n pandiraj comedy style too .. Second Half : Not even single song to speed break d film screenplay.. Full of Mass .. Vishal good acting in his carrier n his body language nicely suits for Action oriented like this Mass film.. Catherine Tresa sooo beautiful n acting wise too good .. She Might become leading lady of 2016 if this performances continues .. Hiphop Tamizha Music only two songs n both are semmaa esp tat Alagae amuthey song mersal .. BGM SEMMMMA THERIII.. A brilliant movie from Pandiraj. The film started like a normal action movie with a intro song and love tracks but quickly gets into the story, it would be better to call it as a guessing game. Vishal as Amudhan does his part well. Hip Hop Adhi's BGM is adequate. Thanks to pandiraj for keeping the run time short and crisp without adding any masala elements, which keep the movie engaging for audience. Worth a Watch. (more)

Climax twist,story, Visual characterization,bam and music are good.but other areas like screenplay,comedy big disappointment. Director is able to create mood but unable to whip up intensity or anger that Sussendran successfully did in Pandiyanaadu.Overall a mediocre version of Pandiyanaadu.Kathakali = Pandiyanadu part 2!!
