Singh is Bling crosses 50 crore  Mark in the opening weekend

Akshay Kumar starrer Singh is Bling movie is performing very well along with garnering positive reviews. The film has minted Rs. 54.44 crore in its opening weekend. Singh is Bling is doing good business in India as well as in overseas markets. It has crossed the 50 crore mark in the opening weekend.

The film has earned 16.72 cr nett on the opening day. The opening day collections out-dazzled Akshay's other 2015 releases like Gabbar Is Back (Rs 13.05 crores), Baby (Rs 9.3 crores) and Brothers ( Rs 15.20 crores ) by a fair margin, to emerge as his "biggest opener."

‘Singh Is Bliing’ also stars Amy Jackson and Lara Dutta. The movie is directed by Prabhu Deva whose last two releases ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ and ‘Action Jackson’ were big flops at the box office. Akshay Kumar is looking for his first Rs 100 crore grosser of 2015, while Prabhu is hoping for a big hit after the debacle of ‘Action Jackson’.

‘Singh Is Bliing’ sees Akshay Kumar playing the role of Raftaar Singh in the film. With the backdrop of Punjab, the movie is a concoction of comedy, hocth-potch emotions and pure action.
