Vedalam starring Ajith, Shruthi Haasan and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles is directed by Siruthai fame Siva. The teaser of the movie which was initially planned to release tonight was postponed. As the movie is targeted for Diwali release, we shall expect the teaser release sometimes soon. Shruti Haasan plays a lawyer in the film and Ajith will be seen playing a role of taxi driver in the movie. Soori has been roped in to provide the comic relief. Music is by Anirudh. The movie is produced by AM Ratnam's Sri Sai Ram Creations.
