Piku crosses 100 crore mark worldwide

Piku starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan directed by Shoojit Sircar hit the screens on May 8. The film has been doing good business at the Box office ever since its release. The film which fetched raving reviews from all quarters has collected over Rs. 100 crore worldwide.

“Piku” is a beautiful tale of a father and a daughter’s relationship has done fantastic business both at the domestic and overseas markets. It is continuing its successful run at the box office even after two weeks.

Piku has collected Rs. 71.72 crore in its third week at the domestic Box office. In the overseas market, the film has raked in around $5.36 million (Rs. 34.09 cr). The film has now globally crossed the 100 crore mark.

Amitabh Bachchan shared his excitement on his Twitter account. He tweeted, “'PIKU' is 100 cr world wide !! 'BLUES' win BPL and IPL .. I am like 'o baby .. !! come to Mama !! BADOOOMBA !!!”
