Shahrukh Khan's Raees to release on Eid 2016

Shahrukh Khan is currently shooting for Fan directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films. The actor will then begin shooting for his next project 'Raees' to be directed by Rahul Dholakia.

The film will start rolling from March 28 in Mumbai. Only few portions of the film will be shot during the first schedule. The major schedule of the film will kickstart in September. The makers are planning to release the film on Eid 2016.

Shah Rukh Khan will be playing a bootlegger in the film while Nawazuddin will be seen as a cop. Mahira Khan plays the female lead. The film is produced by Excel Entertainment.
