Shankar has started the story discussion in full swing with the latest in-demand story writer duos Subha. The writers are also currently working on the script for Ajith's next with Vishnuvaradhan. Otherwise, no other technicians, cast and crew members have been finalized so far. The industry believes there are 4 heroes having the highest probability of landing this lead role due to various combination of reasons. The challenge is that everybody appears to have made a firm commitment to their producers during the next 2 years. Here is how the current equation plays out among the leading actors and Shankar,

• Rajni is committed to Eros for doing full-length feature movie after Kochadaiyaan. So, they are looking for a good director.

• Kamal has given his commitment to Aascar Productions and moving ahead with Thalaivan Irukaan. But, he is struggling to find a saleable director.

• Vikram is soft booked and has received advance from 2 producers. But, he has not announced his next after Thandavam and Hindi movie.

• Suriya is committed to Studio Green to work for either Venkat Prabhu movie or Hari movie. Suriya has not publicly announced his next movie, yet.

All these heroes have the highest probability of landing the role and the chances are wide open. Once Shankar fixes his target on a hero, he is usually very persistent until he gets him.

Based on the various factors, the front-runner in our opinion and insiders' is Chiyaan Vikram.
