SRK refutes rumours of playing a 17 year-old in Fan

Speculations were rife that Shahrukh Khan would be seen playing the role of a 17 year old in his upcoming film 'Fan'. Also there were reports that his new project to be directed by Rohit Shetty will featured 17 prominent stars including Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt. 

ShahRukh Khan who is active on social media has denied these news as mere rumours. 

And the number 17 where has this come from in one press con I did?! 17 stars In Rohit's film & I am 17 yrs old in Fan...both not true.

Later recalling his statement at the press conference in connection to the number 17 which has been blown out of proposition, the actor had tweeted, "Got it! In a generic sense I said I could be 17 years with techno in my next film in context of age centric casts so casting will be character based"

"Fan" is directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films. Habib Faisal has penned the script of "Fan". SRK will be seen in a very different avatar in the film.
