Quirky, oddball and completely off the beaten track, that is Homi Adjania’s Finding Fanny for you in a nutshell. The trailer promises a complete mad ride while hinting at a Being Cyrus redux from the director. Then there is the chance to watch Deepika, Arjun and Ranveer Singh together on the screen. 

Here are the five reasons why we think you should be heading to the nearest cinema halls this weekend to find Fanny. 

1. Deepika Padukone

The reigning queen of the Box office, Deepika is back on the silver screen this week. She is playing a Goan girl in the film and looks every bit the part. She has had the midas touch for a while now and is reason enough to rush to the theatres. 

2. Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia

These three veterans have the experience and talent to create unimaginable screen magic. Going by the trailers, they seem to have added another feather to their already decorated acting hats. Who wouldn’t want to take part in the delight?

3. Homi Adjania

One of the hottest new age directors of our times, Homi has proven he can do quirky (Being Cyrus) and commercial (Cocktail) with equal ease. We loved his quirk earlier, this time round he only promises double the fun. His knack of narrating slice of life stories with odd ball characters is unmatchable. Need we say more?

4. Arjun Kapoor

After the suave Punjabi guy in 2 States, this latest entrant into the 100 crore club is out to prove his versatility with an offbeat film. The boy looks dishy and can act. Now that is a rare combination. His look in Finding Fanny has already garnered much interest, we can hardly wait to see what tricks he has up his sleeves in the film.

5. Ranveer Singh

Yes, the maverick young gun of Bollywood and Deepika’s rumored love interest is playing a cameo as her husband in the film. He is energy personified, a live wire always ready to entertain. Getting the Ram Leela Jodi back, even for a cameo, is sure going to be a treat to watch.
