Milind Soman in Bajirao Mastani 

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has roped in model-turned-actor Milind Soman in Bajiroa Mastani for a key role. Milind Soman who was missing from action in Bollywood for quite sometime had accepted this offer, the reason being Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Milind was last seen in Bejoy Nambiar's David. 

In an interview to a leading tabloid, Milind Soman said, "Bajirao Mastani is exciting but when Sanjay Leela Bhansali shoots, he requires a lot of commitment because he shoots at that grand scale. I have not been a part of a project that is so big for years, so I took this up" 

According to reports, Bhansali is still developing the character of Milind Soman, but it is a 'positive role' and will have several action sequences. 

Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra have been finalized as the lead actors for the film. Bajirao Mastani is a period romance based on the love story of Peshwar Baji Rao and his second wife Mastani. The film will reportedly have Ranveer Singh playing the historical character of Bajirao, Deepika Padukone as Bajirao's second wife Mastani, and Priyanka Chopra as his first wife Kashibai.
