Kick beats SRK's Chennai Express record at Box Office


After beating the record of Aamir Khan's "3 Idiots", Kick has now surpassed the collections of Shahrukh Khan's "Chennai Express". Kick has now become the second highest grossing film of all time after smashing Chennai Express record. Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 is the highest grosser so far with a lifetime collection of Rs. 280 crores.

 

Chennai Express made a total collection of Rs. 227 crore. Kick which is in its third week has collected Rs. 228.02 crore on Wednesday (Day 20) surpassing the collection of Chennai Express.


Kick starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez directed by Sajid Nadiawala hit the screens on July 25. The film has done good business so far. However, the collection of Kick has declined drastically in the third due to the release of Akshay Kumar's "Entertainment and also due to the decrease in the screen count.

 

The film has collected around 228.08 crores in its third week and will be entering in to its 4th week tomorrow.

Saturday - 2.94 cr

Sunday - 3.92 cr

Monday - 1.69 cr

Tuesday - 1.35 cr

Wednesday - 1.10 cr
