Parmeet Sethi returns to silver screen with Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do

Parmeet Sethi is returning to silver screen after a hiatus of 7 years in Zoya Akhtar's upcoming film 'Dil Dhadakne Do'. He will be playing the villain in Dil Dhadakne Do. The actor was last seen in the short story, Puran Mashi, in Sanjay Gupta's Dus Kahaniyaan in 2007. 

Parmeet was surprised when he received a call from Zoya about the role, but he was thrilled and excited too. His wife Archana Puran Singh has confirmed the news to a leading daily. She is happy that her husband is returning back to the silver screen. Parmeet had put a brake on his acting career when he started writing his directorial debut "Badmaash Company".

Dil Dhadakne Do is the story of dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise holiday. It stars Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Chaya. The film is set to hit the screens on June 5, 2015.
