Salman Khan's hugely anticipated film "Kick" hit the screens on Friday (July 25). Kick starring Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is directed by Sajid Nadiawala. The film had a thunderous start at the Box Office. The film has earned around 83 crores in the opening weekend.

 

Opening weekend collection break-up 


Friday - 26.50 cr

Saturday - 27.15 cr

Sunday - 30.18 cr

Total - 83.83 cr

 

Kick gets 4th highest opening ever 


 Kick has grossed around 26.5 crores on the opening day and has registered as the fourth highest opening day ever. The film stands fourth after Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3" (36 cr), Shahrukh Khan's "Chennai Express" (33.10 cr) and Salman's "Ek Tha Tiger: (32.92 cr). Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 holds the record of Highest Opening Day collections so far. 

 

Kick marching towards 100 crore mark


The film has grossed 50 crores in just 2 days of its release. The collections were high on the third day (Sunday) earning 30.18 cr. With Eid around the corner, the film analysts are expecting the collections to surpass the 100 crore mark by Tuesday. The next big question is will Kick manage to collect 200 crores and surpass the collections of Ek Tha Tiger which grossed 198.78 cr?

 

Kick is expected to have solid run at the Box Office as there is no major film releases till Akshay Kumar's 'Entertainment' hit the screens on August 8.
