Eros bags Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani for 125 crores?

Bajirao Mastani starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra will be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The hugely anticipated project will go on floors in October. 

Bajirao Mastani is a period romance based on the love story of Peshwar Baji Rao and his second wife Mastani. Bhansali has been waiting to direct his dream project Bajirao Mastani for a long time and finally his dream will get fulfilled this year.

The latest buzz surrounding the film is that Eros International has acquired the rights of Bajirao Mastani for a whopping amount of Rs. 125 crores even before the film shooting has begun.

Bhansali and Eros have always had a strong partnership over the years and their last film Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ram Leela doing tremendously well at the box-office. The official announcement regarding this is awaited.
