Uttama Villain nearing finish line


The shooting of Uttama Villain is progressing at a brisk pace. The team has wrapped the shooting for the 21st century portions where Kamal essays the role of a film star Manoranjan. The team is currently canning the 8th century portions where Kamal plays will be seen as a 8th century drama actor Uttaman. The shooting is taking place in Chennai and a grand set has been erected in Perungudi. 

 

Director Lingusamy in a recent interview has revealed that about 80% of the film shoot has been wrapped. The entire film shoot will be wrapped in another 15 days. 

 

Uttama Villain star cast includes Jayaram, Andrea, Pooja Kumar, Urvashi, Nasser, K Balachander, K Vishwanath and Parvathi Menon. Music by Ghibran. Dialogues by Crazy Mohan. The story and script have been penned by Kamal himself. The film is produced by Lingusamy's 'Thirrupathi Brothers'. The makers are planning to release the film in September.

 

Kamal Haasan will next start shooting for Tamil remake of Malayalam film Drishyam. His magnum opus Vishwaroopam 2 is in the post production stage. Vishwaroopam 2 is likely to hit the screens in November.
