Simbu GVM project not dropped confirms Simbu

Gautham Menon is currently busy shooting for Ajith's film. Before commencing work on Ajith's film, Gautham Menon was shooting with Simbu for a new film tentatively titled Sattrendru Maaruthu Vaanilai. However the director had put this project on hold and started focusing on Ajith's project.

Some sections of media had reported that the film has been shelved, as there has been no update or official word on the film's status. Simbu has however clarified that the film has not been shelved and is very much on. The project has been put on hold as Gautham Menon is busy with his current project with Ajith 55. Once Gautham completes work on Thala 55, he will start work on Simbu's film.

Simbu has wrapped the shooting of Vaalu and is currently shooting for Idhu Namma Aalu directed by Pandiraj.
