Maan Karate gets very good opening at Box Office
Siva Karthikeyan - Hansika starrer Maan Karate hit the screens on April 4. The film with huge expectations received mixed reviews from audience. However, the box office results have been nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the pre-release buzz and promotions.
Maan Karate Overseas Performance
It is well known that overseas markets are very difficult to penetrate even for accomplished actors. Thanks to Sivakarthikeyan's wide popularity among TV watching family audience, Maan Karate did well at the North America box office collecting roughly $69,600 over the first weekend. The collections showed a steady flow following Friday opening collection of $25,685 from US screens.
Domestically, the film has reportedly grossed 10 crores in its opening weekend in Tamil Nadu. The film has been censored with a clean U certificate which has given entertainment tax exemption from TN State Government. This is the highest ever for Sivakarthikeyan in international and domestic markets.

Sivakarthikeyan and Anirudh have been attributed to the success and grand reception for this movie. Sivakarthikeyan continues to prove his naysayers wrong as maintains his hit-streak at the box office. Sivakarthikeyan's vast improvements in being a commercially reliable actor have been noticed by film-makers, media and public. One leading distributor commented that Sivakarthikeyan's growth must have given sleepless nights to our leading heroes in Tamil industry.
