Lenin Pandiyan has been confirmed for a September 25 theatrical release. Directed by debutant DD Balachandran, the film stars composer-lyricist Gangai Amaran in the lead alongside actor-politician Roja Selvamani, marking her return to Tamil cinema after over a decade. The film also marks the acting debut of Dhaarshan Ganesan, grandson of the legendary Sivaji Ganesan, with Archana Ravichandran and Shrita Rao in prominent roles.

The release also marks a reunion between Ilaiyaraaja and Sathya Jyothi Films — who have previously collaborated on iconic films like Moondram Pirai, Idhayam, Thangamagan and Panakkaaran — with the maestro composing the music for Lenin Pandiyan.
