Simran has shared glimpses of her look from Dharman, teasing her character in Rajinikanth's upcoming film directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. Alongside the photographs, the actor expressed her joy at reuniting with the Superstar. "Nearly three decades of memories, learning, and gratitude. Happy to begin another beautiful chapter with Superstar Rajinikanth in Dharman," she wrote.
Simran, who made her Tamil debut in the mid-90s and had her breakthrough year in 1999 with Thullatha Manamum Thullum and Vaalee, had waited years for her first collaboration with Rajinikanth before Petta in 2019. At the Dharman launch, she had revealed that she had personally told Rajinikanth she wanted to work with him again after Petta, and expressed gratitude that the opportunity had finally come.
Dharman, Rajinikanth's 173rd film, also stars Raashii Khanna and is produced by Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films International with the tagline "The Deadly Doctor."
