The makers of Gatta Kusthi 2 have unveiled the film's teaser, offering a glimpse into the next chapter of Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi's popular sports-comedy franchise.

The teaser revisits key moments from the 2022 original before showcasing the evolving relationship between the lead pair. While the first film focused on the hero's chauvinistic mindset and eventual transformation, the sequel appears to see him fully supporting his wife's sporting ambitions, even if it means going against all odds.

Gatta Kusthi 2 also sees the return of several familiar faces, including Kaali Venkat, Munishkanth, Karunas, Lizzie Antony, Sreeja Ravi, and Gajaraj. Joining the franchise are Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, Mokksha, and child actor Zara Zyanna.

Directed by Chella Ayyavu, the film is produced by Ishari K Ganesh's Vels Film International and Vishnu Vishal Studioz. The technical crew includes Sean Roldan for music, KM Bhaskaran for cinematography, Barath Vikraman for editing, and Jayachandran as art director.

Slated for a theatrical release on July 3, Gatta Kusthi 2 promises another blend of humour, family emotions, and sports drama. The film's team recently revealed that the climax is among its biggest highlights.
