Aishwarya Rajinikanth's next directorial venture, Texla, officially went on floors on Monday. The film marks the first collaboration between the filmmaker and lead actors Jai and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
Set in a rural backdrop from a bygone era, Texla is said to revolve around the world of children. The project also reunites Aishwarya Rajinikanth with composer Yuvan Shankar Raja after their 2015 film Vai Raja Vai.
The film is being produced by Kannan Ravi under the KRG Group banner. The technical crew includes cinematographer Vishnu Rangasamy, editor GK Prasanna, and stunt choreographer Anal Arasu.
Aishwarya Rajinikanth last directed Lal Salaam, which released in 2024. Apart from Tamil, Texla is also planned for release in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
