The makers of Hi have teased a fresh update from the film with a new poster, while also confirming that the Nayanthara–Kavin starrer will hit theatres in April this year.

The film marks the directorial debut of Vishnu Edavan, who previously worked as an assistant director to Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vishnu is also known for penning popular songs such as Leo’s “Badass”, Vikram’s “Porkanda Singam”, and Master’s “Polakattum Para Para”.

Hi stars Nayanthara and Kavin in the lead roles, with music composed by Jen Martin. The technical crew includes Rajesh Shukla as director of photography, Philomin Raj as editor, B Sekar handling art direction, and Dinesh Kasi choreographing the action sequences.

C. U. Muthuselvan has contributed additional screenplay and dialogues for the film.

The project is produced by Nayanthara alongside Vignesh Shivan, S. S. Lalit Kumar, and Umesh Kumar Bansal, with K. S. Mayilvaganan serving as co-producer. The film is backed by Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio.
