The release of Thaai Kizhavi, produced by Sivakarthikeyan, has been postponed from its earlier planned date of February 20 to February 27, 2026.

Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, the film stars Radikaa Sarathkumar in the lead role as Pavunthayo — an elderly woman who makes a living by collecting debts with interest, a quirky character expected to add humour and freshness to the narrative.

Touted as a character-driven entertainer, the film also features Singampuli, Arul Doss, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Ilavarasu, George Maryan, Muthukumar, and Raichal Rabecca in key roles. The makers have rescheduled the release due to undisclosed reasons.
