Exciting update from Kollywood! Mrunal Thakur is reportedly making her Tamil debut as the female lead in Silambarasan TR's upcoming project, tentatively titled STR51.

This marks the first on-screen collaboration between STR (Simbu) and Mrunal. The film will be directed by Ashwath Marimuthu (fresh off the success of Dragon), produced by AGS Entertainment, with music likely by Leon James.

Shooting is scheduled to begin by the end of April 2026.
