Madharaasi written and directed by AR Murugadoss is an upcoming Tamil movie starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead. Produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies, Madharaasi releases in theaters on September 5, 2025, and recently had a trailer release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages.

Dil Madharaasi is the Hindi title of Sivakarthikeyan's film and the Hindi dubbed trailer has now revealed the psychology behind Sivakarthikeyan's lead character Raghu. Hindi dubbing for the doctor character played by Thalaivaasal Vijay, reveals that Sivakarthikeyan is mentally affected due to loosing 14 members of his family in a tragedy. As a result, when the character 'Raghu' sees people in distress, he views them as those lost 14 family members, and goes to any extent to save them.

This dialogue which reveals crucial Madharaasi plot details, has since been edited in the Dil Madharaasi trailer, but early YouTube reaction channels have inadvertently caught them. Madharaasi is said to have cleared censor with an U/A, and a runtime of 2 hours 45 minutes.

The movie also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Vikranth, among others. The technical crew of Madharaasi includes Anirudh Ravichander for music, Sudeep Elamon for cinematography, Kevin Kumar for action, and Sreekar Prasad for edits.
