Atleast three Tamil movies are gearing up for a digital premiere on streaming platforms in India this week, and here are the OTT release details of Paranthu Po, Maaman, and Oho Enthan Baby:
1. Paranthu Po
Paranthu Po's OTT release date is August 5, 2025. The movie starring actor Shiva and child actor Mithul ryan in the lead will be available to stream on JioHotstar in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Bangla, and Marathi languages.
A road musical comedy film written, directed and co-produced by Ram, Paranthu Po revolves around a mischievous 8-year-old named Anbu (Mithul Ryan), whose antics derail an ordinary day, when he and his overworked father Gokul (Shiva), find themselves on an unexpected journey—through sunflower fields, white lies, and uphill climbs—that just might bring them closer than ever.
Paranthu Po comes with a runtime of 140 minutes, and Santhosh Dhayanidhi for the songs, and Yuvan Shankar Raja for the score. The movie also stars Grace Antony, Anjali, Aju Varghese, Vijay Yesudas, Dia, Jess Kukku, Balaji Sakthivel, Sreeja Ravi, among others.
2. Maaman
Maaman's OTT release date is August 8, 2025. The movie starring Soori, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Master Prageeth Sivan, Swasika among others will be available to stream on Zee 5 this Friday.
A family drama with story by actor Soori, and screenplay, direction by Prasanth Pandiyaraj, Maaman tells the tale of what happens when Inba’s (Soori) deep devotion to his sister (Swasika) and her son (Master Prageeth Sivan) strains his marriage to Rekha (Aishwarya Lekshmi)—a compassionate doctor.
The couple must navigate clashing loyalties, family chaos, and painful misunderstandings—until love, loss, and a child’s innocence show them the way back to each other. Maaman comes with a runtime of 151 minutes, and has Hesham Abdul Wahab for music. The movie is a production venture of Lark Studios.
3. Oho Enthan Baby
Oho Enthan Baby's OTT release date is August 8, 2025. The movie starring Rudra K, Mithila Palkar, Vishnu Vishal, Anju Kurain, Mysskin, Redin Kingsley, among others will be avilable to stream in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
A rom-com written by Mukesh Manjunath, Sarada Ramanathan, and directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar, Oho Enthan Baby tells the story of aspiring filmmaker Ashwin (Rudra), who disillusioned by his parents’ bitter marriage and obsessed with movie-style romance, believes he’s found his perfect love in Meera(Mithila Palkar)—until their relationship unravels under the weight of personal baggage.
When a chance script pitch turns into a heartfelt narration of his failed love story, actor Vishnu Vishal (as himself) challenges Ashwin to rewrite his ending—both on-screen and in real life. Oho Enthan Baby comes with a runtime of 2 hours and 14 minutes. The movie is a production venture of Vishnu Vishal Studioz, Romeo Pictures, and Good Show, and has Jen Martin and Ved Shankar for music.
