30 year old Priyanka Arul Mohan started off big in Tamil Cinema, playing female lead to stars like Sivakarthikeyan (Doctor, Don), and Suriya (Etharkkum Thunindhavan). After a year's gap the actress returned to share screen space with Dhanush in Captain Miller (2024), and Ravi Mohan in Brother (2024), both of which received lukewarm response.
Between Captain Miller and Brother, Priyanka Arul Mohan is said to have departed from her PR agency 'The Route', which is also home to major star talents like actor Vijay, actress Pooja Hegde, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Keerthy Suresh, Rashmika Mandanna, filmmakers Atlee, Lokesh Kanagaraj, H Vinoth, among others.
Priyanka Mohan has not had a Tamil film release since Brother, but the actress made a dance cameo in Dhanush directed Tamil movie Nilavukku En mel Ennadi Kobam (2025). Recently, the actress signed her next Tamil film opposite actor Kavin, and her return to the Kollywood spotlight has ignited chatter about a rise in social media negativity against Priyanka Mohan, which many allude to her departure from 'The Route'.
The Route's last social media post about Priyanka Mohan was in March 2025, but even then staunch fans of the actress were quick to notice, that the PR firm was associated with the ad campaign and not the actress directly.
Nope Route Just Associated with Shaadi .Com App Not With Her. pic.twitter.com/gSvvSSVfoN

The negative social media campaigns against Priyanka Arul Mohan, and her lack of offers in Tamil Cinema despite having had a great start back in 2021, is all being attributed to 'The Route'. The PR firm is currently under scanner for orchestrating attacks against ex-clients, despite no concrete proof to back this claim.
You are right and that's what happened another new music director getting back to back projects suddenly when ani not part of that PR group

Since 'The Route' is a firm that works in close quarters with actor Vijay, who is soon entering politics in Tamil Nadu, many are also looking into the angle of 'sabotage' by opponent political parties that are also in the field of cinema.
