Vishnu Vishal Opens Up About Missed Debuts and Finding His Breakthrough
Actor Vishnu Vishal, now a familiar face in Tamil cinema, recently spoke about the challenges he faced early in his career and the roles that slipped through his fingers before his big break.
Vishnu revealed that he was initially set to debut with the film Naan, but was unexpectedly dropped without explanation. The role later went to Vijay Antony, marking his debut. He also auditioned for Chennai 28, the cult sports drama that launched many young talents, and missed out on a chance to star in Kaadhal as well.
Despite these setbacks, Vishnu finally made his debut with Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu (VKK), a film that earned him critical praise and marked the real beginning of his acting journey.
“I was supposed to do Naan as my debut, but I was suddenly thrown out for no reason. After that, Vijay Antony sir did it. I also auditioned for Chennai 28, and Kaadhal was also supposed to be mine. Finally, I got VKK as my debut film,” he shared.
Today, Vishnu Vishal is celebrated not just for his talent but also for his determination. Adding another proud moment to his journey, his banner Vishnu Vishal Studioz is all set to release Ohoh Endhan Baby this Friday, which marks the acting debut of his brother, Rudra.
