After Tamil, one of actor Suriya's strongest markets is Telugu, to the extent that there have been times when Suriya's Telugu dubbed Tamil movies have done better box-office compared to the original. So it wouldn't be an understatement to say that the movie loving Telugu audience have always welcomed Suriya movies with open arms, whenever they released.
Retro, Suriya 44th movie is the actor's home production, and the film written, directed, and co-produced by Karthik Subbaraj is a gangster action thriller. On Thursday, it was officially announced that Retro's Telugu states distribution rights have been acquired by Sithara Entertainment.
