Lyca Productions, the banner behind Rajinikanth's upcoming film Vettaiyan officially announced in April this year, that the film will release in October 2024. This was followed by an unofficial confirmation by Rajinjkanth that Vettaiyan release date is October 10, 2024.
However Vettaiyan seems to be hitting theater screens for Diwali, which also falls in October this year. Vettaiyan release date is expected to be between October 29, 2024 (Tuesday) to November 3, 2024 (Sunday).
It remains to be seen if this TJ Gnanavel directed movie, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Fassil, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan,Ritika Singh among others releases for Dussehra Or Diwali this year.
