Tamil Nadu State Film Awards ceremony for 2015 to take place in 2024! Full Winners List:

In 2022, the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for the years 2009-2014 were awarded at one go, 5 years after the discontinued awards were reinstated and winners announced. Now, the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards - 2015 edition, is all set to take place on March 6, 2024 [Wednesday]. In a press released unveiled on Monday, MP Saminathan, the minister for Tamil development and Information and Broadcasting announced,

 

"The Tamil Nadu Government Film Awards and Tamil Nadu Government M.G.R. Film and Television Training Institute Students Awards Ceremony on Wednesdayis going to take place in a grand mannder on 6.3.2024 at 6.00 pm at the Muthamizh Peravai (hall of) T.N. Rajarathinam Kalai Arangam (Auditorium) (located in) Raja Annamalai Puram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. 


Honorable minister for Tamil development and Information and Broadcasting Mr. M. P. Saminathan will preside over the function, address the awardees and present them with gold medals, cheques to producers of best films, mementos and certificates.

 

Honourable Minister for Health and Family Welfare of Tamil Nadu Mr. Ma. Subramanian and Honourable Minister of Charitable Endowments of Tamil Nadu Mr. P. K. Sekar Babu will be giving out a special address...

 

...At the Tamil Nadu Government Film Awards ceremony, Hon'ble Minister of Tamil Development and Information and Broadcasting will present cheques, awardees' name engraved gold medals, mementos and certificates to a total of 39 awardees including best film producers, best actors, actresses and technicians, technicians of short films produced by students of the Tamil Nadu Government MGR Film and Television Training Institute.

 

Hon'ble Ministers, members of the Parliament, legislative assembly (Tamil Nadu State), representatives of local government organizations, high officers, celebrities from the film Industry, actors, actresses and technicians will participate in this event."
