Jailer starring Rajinikanth in the lead has been doing exceptionally well at the Kerala box-office. The movie released via Sree Gokulam and Dream Big Films in the state, has recorded the highest single day collection by a Tamil movie on Sunday. Jailer grossed Rs. 7 Cr on August 13, 2023 alone i.e. day 4 of the film's release. The movie has now surpassed the previous highest single day collection, held by Beast day 1 gross. 

Jailer which has Mohanlal in a small cameo, is also currently only behind Kamal Haasan's Vikram as the highest grossing Tamil movie in the state. Jailer's Kerala gross in 4 days is Rs. 23.65 Cr, and the movie's 5th day run has been as promising as the first four.
