Kanguva: A Mighty Valiant Saga starring actor Suriya in the lead is an upcoming Tamil movie directed by Siva. The movie had its first glimpse release on July 22, 2023, revealing the medieval avatar of Suriya from the film. A Devi Sri Prasad composition with voice-track in Tamil (Arunraja Kamaraj), Telugu (Hemachandra Vedala), Hindi (Ninad Kamat), Malayalam (Manoj Mathew), Kannada (Santhosh Venky) and English (John E), had accompanied the Kanguva glimpse video. Now all these tracks are streaming on music platforms.

Kanguva glimpse introduced Suriya's period character as Kangaa from Perumaachi and the Kanguva glimpse track detailed, "In the bloodline of Maaraakkan who hoisted the flag on the seabed, From the lineage of Kochaami who felled a mighty tusker, As the heir of Ilamban who vanquished a famine, the grandson of Thangaiyan who tore apart a mountain, the son of Sendhee who ended the evil Chachaangan. To ascend the peaks of Mandaiyaar and capture a cloud, to climb the trees of Vengaadu and attack a white tiger, to step on the isle of Arathi and sow fear in our foes, to mount the wild elephants of MuKkaadu and ride it all around, there is one and only one - Our Kangaa!"
The Kanguva glimpse along with the title announcement (also streaming on music platforms) focus on the medieval portions of the movie, where Suriya appears in a period character. Kanguva as such is a contemportary film set in Goa and has Disha Patani playing female lead. The movie is a production venture of UV Creations, Studio Green, with Saregama Tamil as the official music label.
