As reported by MovieCrow before, it has now been officially announced that the trailer of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming Tamil -Telugu bilingual Maaveeran/Mahaveerudu will be out on July 2, 2023 i.e. coming Sunday. A grand pre-release event for the movie is also happening this Sunday at Sri Sairam Engineering College, West Tambaram, Chennai.

An idea-based fantasy film surrounding the life of a comic played by Sivakarthikeyan, Maaveeran is written and directed by Madonne Ashwin of Mandela fame. The movie also stars Aditi Shankar, Mysskin, Yogi Babu, Saritha, Telugu actor Sunil, among others.
Maaveeran/Mahaveerudu is a production venture of Shanthi Talkies. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies is presenting the film in Tamil Nadu, with Saregama holding audio rights, Sun TV satellite and Amazon Prime Video OTT rights. Maaveeran/Mahaveerudu releases in theaters worldwide on July 14, 2023
