In case you didn't already know, actor, producer Shah Rukh Khan officially confirmed the long-rumoured Jawan release date change with a tweet over the weekend, and the movie, directed by Atlee is now releasing on September 7, 2023 [Thursday], instead of June 2, 2023. (video, poster here)

Shah Rukh's Jawan release date tweet unexpectedly caused a Twitter chaos, thanks to a tweet from a handle called @runnews/Russian Market. The handle was unimpressed with Elon Musk - the new Twitter chief that the platform's algorithm was showing him tweets from a 'random Indian actor' whom they've never heard of before.

Unsurprisingly 'Russian Market' was 'educated' in no time about Shah Rukh Khan's stardom and influence, leaving the handle to eventually ask for movie suggestions to make up for their 'mistake'. A glimpse of what went down in the chaotic 2-days:

Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priya Mani, Deepika Padukone, Vijay (the latter two in cameo roles) among others and has Anirudh for music. The movie marks Atlee, Nayanthara, Anirudh's Bollywood debut and Vijay Sethupathi's Hindi film debut (He has previously appeared in an Hindi OTT series called Farzi).
