Suriya 42 (working title) is a mega-budgeted fantasy genre movie starring actor Suriya in the lead. The film written by Siva, Adi Narayana, Madan Karky (dialogues) and directed by Siva is is scheduled to release in 3D in 10 languages, and is jointly produced by Studio Green, UV Creations.

It has now been officially announced that the Suriya 42 title, release date will be unveiled on April 16, 2023 (Sunday) at 9: 05 AM. Last night, a poster leak said to be of the movie revealed Suriya 42 title to be Agneeswaran, which means 'bearer of fire'. However there was no mention of a release date in the leaked media.  

Suriya 42 comes with a 1000-year old backstory, and also stars Disha Patani, KS Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anand Raj among others. The movie's technical crew has Devi Sri Prasad for music, Vetri Palanisamy for cinematography, Supreme Sundar for stunts, Milan for art and Shobi for dance choreography.
