Big action film Agilan is an upcoming Tamil movie starring Jayam Ravi, Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead and the movie is all set to hit theater screens on March 10, 2023 i.e. tomorrow. Here are 5 reasons to catch the film on the big screen:

• Subject: Tamil cinema has not seen a movie that details on sea-trade, and how much of a hold it has on the economies of this world's countries. Agilan touches on this with a harbour-side don as the story's central character. 

• Jayam Ravi: Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan I surely has given a new lease of interest in the actor that is Jayam Ravi. Agilan comes on the heels of this massively successful film, showcasing a completely different side to the performer. 

• Lead Combo: Agilan marks the first collaboration between Jayam Ravi and actress Priya Bhavani Shankar. Despite being on different sides of the law in the movie, Agilan promises onscreen romance between the two. Would be interesting to see their chemistry on screen.

• Writing: N. Kalyanakrishnan has previously written screenplays for acclaimed movies like Iyarkai (2003), E (2006) and Peranmai (2009). Agilan is the filmmaker's second outing as director.

• Other Aspects: From the stunts to cinematography to Sam CS' music, Agilan promises good production value.  It also comes with a fresh mix of supporting actors.
