Vijay starrer Tamil film Varisu, which released in theaters on January 11, 2023 made its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video this February 23. The movie is also streaming in dubbed versions under the titles Vaarasudu [Telugu], Vaarasdara [Kannada] and Vamshajan [Malayalam]. Varisu Hindi dubbed version will be making its OTT premiere on March 8, 2023 [Wednesday] in India. 

Outside India, Varisu is aditionally streaming on Simply South OTT platform as well. Written and directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Varisu follows the story of a business tycoon's estranged prodigal son, who takes over the reins of his family business much to the chagrin of his two brothers. 

Actor Vijay's eponymous lead character is then tasked with facing business rivals as well as mending his broken-family. The movie has Rashmika Mandanna playing female lead.
