Actor Rajinikanth is currently busy with his upcoming project Jailer, which is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. The star was last publicly spotted at Cuddalore filming action sequences and now MovieCrow learns that the team will be shooting at Delhi starting early November.

Important jail sequences will be filmed during this Delhi schedule. Also starring Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar in his Tamil debut, Vinayakan (main villain), Ramya Krishanan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu among others, Jailer has Anirudh for music, Vijay Karthik Kannan for cinematography and R. Nirmal for edits.
Jailer is expected to release in theaters for Tamil New year on April 14, 2023 and possibly clash with the Shankar directed RC 15 (tentative title) at the box-office.
