Almost a year ago, the title of actress Nayanthara's upcoming horror thriller was revealed to be Connect and actors Anupam Kher and Sathyaraj were said to be co-starring the movie. Now, along with a new poster from the film, it has been revealed that the movie is set in the pandemic times. 

Also starring Vinay Rai and a child actor named Haniya Nafisa, Connect is written by Ashwin Saravanan and wife Kaavya Ramkumar, and directed by Ashwin. Connect is a production venture of Vignesh Shivan's Rowdy Pictures and the film marks the reunion of Nayanthara - Ashwin after their 2015 film Maya. 

The technical crew of this movie includes Prithvi Chandrasekhar for music, Manikantan Ramachary for cinematography, Sreeraman and Siva Sankar for art, 'real' Satish for stunts and Richard Kevin for edits.
