Actor Sivakarthikeyan's next film, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual titled Prince is directed by Anudeep of Jathi Rathnalu fame. The pre-release business for Prince is almost done and the film has already made Rs. 95 Cr. from it. The team is still awaiting to close deals for Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu satellite rights, meaning the movie's business is easily expected to cross Rs. 100 Cr+.

Prince was originally supposed to release in August but now the film will hit theater screens on October 21, 2022 for Diwali. Produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas, Suresh Productions and Shanthi Talkies, Prince has Thaman for music and Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka as female lead.

Prince is meeting Karthi's Sardar at the Tamil box-office; The movie is an own-release in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana.
