After the absolute gem of a song titled Ponni Nadhi, Mani Ratnam directed Ponniyin Selvan: Part One (PS-I) had its second single release today. The number titled Chola Chola was all about the amplifying the 'Chola' pride and focussed on actor Vikram's Aditya Karikalan character in the period drama. His turbulent love angle with Nandini (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) also gets a nod in the song. 

Chola Chola is crooned by Sathya Prakash, VM Mahalingam and Nakul Abhyankar in Tamil and has lyrics by  Ilango Krishnan. Tips Tamil holds the audio rights to PS-I, which has music by AR Rahman. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Madras Talkies, PS-I hits theater screens on September 30, 2022.
