Naane Varuven is an upcoming Tamil movie starring Dhanush in the lead, which is scripted by Dhanush and directed by Selvaraghavan. Recently Selvaraghavan who also plays a small role in the movie, revealed that the film's dubbing portions have begun. Additionally, it is being said that Naane Varuven is looking at a September release mostly on September 29 or September 30.

It is worth mentioning here that Mani Ratnam's high budget multi-starrer Ponniyin Selvan (PS1) is also scheduled to release on September 30, 2022. Naane Varuven is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations and has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music.
