The Legend is an upcoming Tamil movie directed by JD-Jerry of Ullasam (1997), Whistle (2003) fame and the film marks the Kollywood debut of entrepreneur 'Legend' Saravanan. The Legend is produced, headlined by Saravanan and today it was announced that API International has bagged the worldwide distribution of the movie, excluding Tamil Nadu.

Also starring Urvashi Rautela, Vijayakumar, Prabhu, late Tamil comedian Vivek, Yogi Babu among others, The Legend is scheduled to release in theaters on July 28, 2022. The technical crew of this film includes Harris Jayaraj for music, R. Velraj for cinematography, Pattukottai Prabhakar for dialogues and Ruben for edits.
The Tamil Nadu distribution of The Legend is with Gopuram Cinemas, whereas its satellite and OTT rights are with Star Vijay and Disney Plus Hotstar respectively.
