Vijay Sethupathi is one actor from the Tamil film industry who has no qualms about playing villain to other leading stars in movies. He has famously played antagonist to Vijay (Master) and Kamal Haasan (Vikram) in Tamil and soon to Allu Arjun (Pushpa: The Rule) in Telugu. There is a new addition to this list, and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen going against Shah Rukh Khan in the Atlee directed Hindi movie Jawan.

Vijay Sethupathi who already has a Bollywood release titled Merry Chirstmas (with Katrina Kaif) in the pipeline, is expected to begin shooting for Jawan in Mumbai in the coming weeks. Jawan, a home production for Shahrukh also stars Nayanthara in an important role and is scheduled to release on June 2, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
