Vikram starring Kamal Haasan in the lead opened in theaters worldwide on June 3, 2022 and less than 24 hours later, Udhayanidhi Stalin, film's distributor in Tamil Nadu had updated that the response to the movie 'has been huge'. Vikram's producers R. Mahendran, Kamal Haasan from Raaj Kamal Films International and team Red Giant Movies was all smiles at the box-office result of the movie.

Additionally, Turmeric Media which has been setting standards in handling the promotions of Vikram added one last leaf to the film's campaign. They shared that an ad for Vikram's music album (composed by Anirudh) adorned the Times Square screen at Manhattan, New York. 

Previously the film's trailer was screened on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, Vikram's posters were designed on Southern Railways' compartments, this movie-specific NFTs and metaverse were introduced at Cannes, perfumes, memorabilia were dropped as part of the film's official merchandise, etc.
