INOX CEO credits Valimai among other non-Tamil movies for their revenue revival!

Making a statement about Inox's first quarter for the financial year 2022, Alok Tandon, chief executive officer of INOX Leisure Limited said that he is 'hopeful' mainly because of how they ended the last quarter of the financial year 2021. He said that INOX's chain of multiplexes saw a 'rise in revenue' mainly because of the 'good flow' of content it had. 

Alok was quoted in the media as stating, “Good pipeline of movies and control of cost control contributed to the contraction of our loss and our rise in revenue. Valimai, Gangubai Kathiawadi, The Kashmir Files, RRR, KGF 2 helped us rebound our revenue in Q4 (FY-2021)". He also added,

 

"I'm quite hopeful that the trend that started with movies like Valimai (Tami), Bheemla Nayak (Telugu), Gangubhai Kathiawadi (Hindi), The Kashmir Files (Hindi), KGF: Chapter 2 (Kannnada), RRR (Telugu) is continuing in this Q1 (FY-2022) also."
