Actor Silambarasan TR starrer Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (VTK) is an upcoming Gautham Menon directorial which is said to revolve around the struggles of an out-of-town youngster in a big city. The movie produced by Vels Film International has A.R. Rahman for music, and it has been officially announced that the first single will be unveiled on May 6, 2022.

Silambarasan TR plays Muthu in VTK which also stars Siddhi Idani as Paavai, his love interest,  Raadika Sarathkumar as Muthu's mother and The Family Man fame Neeraj Madhav as Sridharan, a barber. VTK awaits release in theaters and its post theatrical OTT rights are said to have been picked up by Aha Tamil.
