PUBLISHED DATE | 05/Apr/2022

With only a few days remaining for the worldwide release of actor Vijay starrer Beast, word is floating around that the film has been banned in the middle eastern country of Kuwait. The reason being cited is a scene in the movie, which depicts Vijay's spy character who works for Indian RAW intelligence, abducting a minister from Pakistan.

This development however remains to be officially confirmed. Beast is a U/A certified hostage thriller, written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. The movie titled RAW in Hindi comes with a runtime of 2 hours 35 minutes and 38 seconds.

Beast/RAW has Anirudh for music and also stars Pooja Hegde as female lead/one of shopping mall hostages, Selvaraghavan as Madhav Singh, the negotiator between the Indian government and terrorists who have taken control of a busy shopping mall and Shine Tom Chacko as the head of the group who demands the release of his leader in exchange for the captives.
