Sun Pictures has announced that an update on their upcoming production Beast starring Vijay in the lead will be unveiled at 6:00 PM today and guesses are on for whether it would be an update on the film's release date or first single. Beast has previously been buzzed to release either on April 14 or April 28 this year.

Beast first single is said to be penned by Sivakarthikeyan and a promo video featuring him, Vijay, composer Anirudh and film's director Nelson Dilipkumar is also expected. It remains to be seen if one of these updates gets officially announced this evening.
