AK 61 (tentative title) is actor Ajith's third consecutive movie with director H. Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor and the movie might have just gotten bigger with addition of a Malyalam superstar. MovieCrow hears Mohanlal will be sharing screen space with Ajith in AK 61, making it their first on screen collaboration.

Bollywood actress Tabu, actor Prakash Raj are other names that we had previously reported to be a part of AK 61's cast. Word also has it that composer Anirudh will indeed be the one to score music for AK 61, making it his third collaboration with Ajith after Vedalam (2015) and Vivegam (2017).
